This per diem role involves independently operating sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic examinations and communicating results effectively. You will oversee daily sonography department operations, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance, ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities to deliver consistent, quality care aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of sonography programs, protocols, and policies.
• Perform sonographic exams as ordered, prepare preliminary reports, and communicate with referring physicians.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance healthcare initiatives.

Education

Graduation from a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required.

Experience

Preferred: Minimum of three years’ experience, including routine, vascular, obstetric, and breast ultrasonography.

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations

Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in relevant specialties is preferred.
