Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Advanced Infusion Registered Nurse specializing in PICC and Midline catheter placement. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to a diverse outpatient population in the Pacific Northwest region. You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans while utilizing critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.

Job Summary

As an infusion nurse, you will expertly administer IV therapies, perform venipuncture, and manage central venous access devices. Your role includes collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity and excellence of care. You will document treatments accurately and maintain compliance with nursing standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate information to healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
• Document patient care activities including medications, vital signs, and intake/output.
• Function primarily as an outpatient infusion nurse with flexibility to assist other patients as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing practice laws and obtain necessary consents.
• Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster teamwork and professional growth.
• Engage in special projects and support departmental goals.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted nursing license in Washington State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
