Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Accredited Pharmacy Technician. This role is essential in facilitating medication access for primary care patients by collaborating with insurance providers, retail pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and clinicians. As a patient advocate, you will help remove barriers to medication approval and payment, positively impacting patient health outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Process prescription prior authorization requests from pharmacies and insurance companies.
• Assist patients with applications for drug manufacturer copay assistance programs.
• Participate in prescription refill request processing and clinic medication room management.
• Collaborate with Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists to enhance medication access and adherence.
• Provide patients with basic medication information, including dosage, administration, and storage, under pharmacist guidance.
• Address patient questions or concerns related to prescriptions.
• Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience as a practicing pharmacy technician.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in good standing for the relevant state.
• PTCB certification is preferred.
