Job Summary

As an RN in the Outpatient Procedure Unit, you will assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population. Your critical thinking and sound judgment will guide your practice in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards. You will prepare equipment, assist providers during procedures, administer medications, and document patient care accurately.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Experience with endoscopic procedures is a plus.
• Recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience of one year or more is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care principles.
• Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles to patient care.
