Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Advanced Telemetry Technician on the night shift (1800-0630). This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring and surveillance of telemetry patients, ensuring timely recognition and reporting of rhythm changes and potentially life-threatening arrhythmias to the nursing staff according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms and physiological parameters with precision.
• Observe, document, and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Identify rhythm abnormalities promptly and communicate concerns to the Registered Nurse.
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment effectively.
• Respond swiftly to monitor alarms and emergency situations while maintaining composure.
• Utilize office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, telephones, and computers for documentation and communication.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient monitoring initiation and discontinuation.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper management of patient records.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Telemetry Technician or ECG interpretation course is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Telemetry Technician experience is highly desirable.

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
