Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working the night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care in a supportive and fast-paced environment within a Level IV trauma-designated Critical Access Hospital.

Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Emergency Department Director, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care using sound judgment and nursing principles. Your responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, assisting providers during patient examinations, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient care. You will develop individualized care plans within 24 hours of patient admission and maintain fiscal responsibility in resource usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate information to healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient treatments and examinations.
• Document patient care activities including medications, vital signs, and intake/output accurately.
• Develop patient-specific care plans promptly.
• Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster teamwork and professional growth.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards, including patient consent and privacy regulations.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in an emergency room setting is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
