Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and servicing assigned areas using germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies. Your duties include dusting, mopping, washing walls, ceilings, windows, furniture, equipment, and other surfaces. You will also handle the removal of garbage and soiled linens, ensuring patient care areas are stocked with clean supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail and safety for patients and staff.
• Follow established procedures and work under supervision while managing interruptions professionally.
• Rotate between various facilities as needed, including clinics, hospital, and administrative offices.
• Participate in special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to learn and follow policies and procedures effectively.

Physical Requirements
