Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Service Technician I working full-time night shifts. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff in compliance with health department standards.

Job Summary

As an Environmental Service Technician, you will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize patient care areas, equipment, and common spaces. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, washing walls and windows, cleaning furniture, restrooms, and handling soiled linens and waste removal. You will work under close supervision, performing routine tasks efficiently while being mindful of patient safety and comfort.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility to rotate between various district facilities, including clinics, hospital, and administrative offices. Night shift hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Housekeeping experience is preferred, with hospital-based experience considered a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting or carrying of items weighing up to 35 pounds. Vision, hearing, and speech should be within normal range, with or without corrective devices.
