Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional, compassionate care, administering medications and treatments, assisting providers, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will develop individualized care plans within 24 hours of admission and collaborate closely with the healthcare team to promote continuity and excellence of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate information to physicians and healthcare team members.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care, and documentation.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
• Document patient care activities including medications, vital signs, and intake/output accurately.
• Develop patient-specific care plans promptly after admission.
• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in supply and pharmacy usage.
• Maintain compliance with nursing practice regulations and legal requirements.
• Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster teamwork and professional growth.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• One or more years of recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
