Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Endoscopy Technician supporting gastrointestinal procedures under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role involves assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures ranging from routine to advanced therapeutic interventions. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining scopes and equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed.

Job Summary

Prepare procedure rooms and patients, assist during procedures, provide emotional and physical support to patients, and handle specimen collection and documentation. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Completion of Surgical Technology, Anesthesia Technologist, Certified Nurse Assistant, or Medical Assistant program is required.

Experience and Certifications

• Current Surgical Technologist Registration, Nursing Assistant Certification, or Certified Medical Assistant licensure required.
• Endoscopy Technician Certificate preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in sterile processing, scope maintenance, and patient care.
• Strong time management and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment and Schedule

This part-time position offers variable shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, averaging 30 hours per week.
