This full-time role represents the human resources department with professionalism and warmth, acting as a friendly point of contact for employees, visitors, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a helpful and approachable demeanor.
  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks including mail processing, document maintenance, and onboarding procedures for new hires and students.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements through primary source verification.
  • Conduct bi-weekly New Employee Orientation sessions and oversee scheduling.
  • Support HR programs such as compensation, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and leave management.
  • Assist with annual benefits open enrollment and talent acquisition activities as directed.
  • Maintain the learning management system (LMS), track staff training completion, and communicate training requirements.
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships across departments and participate actively in committees and projects.
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of two years of related administrative experience, with healthcare HR experience favored.
  • PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning various computer systems and office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure in sensitive situations.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and collaborative work style.
  • Interest in expanding knowledge of HR theories, labor laws, and best practices.
