Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and servicing assigned areas using germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies. Duties include dusting, mopping, washing walls, ceilings, windows, furniture, equipment, and other surfaces. You will also handle the removal of garbage and soiled linens, ensuring patient care areas are stocked with clean supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail and safety for patients and staff.
• Follow established policies and procedures while working under supervision.
• Rotate between various district facilities as needed, including clinics and administrative offices.
• Participate in special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling of items weighing up to 35 pounds. Vision, hearing, and speech should be within normal range, with or without corrective devices.
