About the Role: MLR is seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound exams, deliver exceptional care to patients, and collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound exams across multiple specialties, including abdomen, pelvis, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts.
• Conduct exams independently while adhering to ergonomic best practices.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy in a respectful, caring environment.
• Complete necessary documentation, conduct research related to exams, and maintain an organized and clean workspace.
• Oversee the management of supplies, ensuring exam rooms are stocked and ready for use.
• Utilize RIS/PACS systems effectively for scheduling and managing patient information.
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic team, exhibiting flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Additional certifications in other modalities are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program with an AS/BS degree.
• RDMS certification.
• Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications required.
• Vascular certification preferred.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Successful completion of an internal background check.
