Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Physical Therapist providing part-time, day-shift services. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating physical therapy treatments to help patients achieve their optimal functional levels.

Job Summary

Deliver comprehensive physical therapy care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Conduct patient intakes and evaluations, set goals collaboratively, implement care plans, prescribe medications, educate patients on risks and benefits, and monitor progress. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document treatment plans using problem-oriented record formats, tailoring approaches to patient understanding and needs.
• Ensure therapy plan compliance, modify treatments based on patient progress, and instruct caregivers on safe home care practices.
• Evaluate therapy effectiveness regularly, consulting with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of clinical excellence, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration to stay current with best practices.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Clinical doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year of physical therapy practice experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Strong knowledge of therapy theories and concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with healthcare providers, managers, and patients.
• Proficient in accurate and timely documentation.
• Capable of independent judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of weights up to and over 35 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities necessary for patient care.
