In this role, you will work closely under the supervision of licensed independent practitioners to provide essential patient care, supporting both clinical and administrative functions. Job Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care within the MA-R scope of practice, accurately executing provider orders in a timely manner.
• Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members regarding wait times.
• Document patient complaints and vital signs following clinic protocols, preparing patients for examinations.
• Maintain up-to-date patient health information in electronic medical records, excluding sensitive history sections.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean, perform point-of-care testing, and assist with treatments and procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with environmental services to uphold a clean and safe clinical environment, consistently practicing infection control.
• Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a Registered Medical Assistant preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current or pending Medical Assistant-Registered licensure as required by the regional health authority, with application submitted within two weeks of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of MA-R duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
