This role involves delivering high-quality nursing services in a 24/7 Emergency Department with Level II Cardiac, Level III Stroke, and Level IV Trauma designations.

About the Role

Under the guidance of the Emergency Department Director, the RN will utilize independent judgment and nursing expertise to administer medications, assist with treatments, and collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members. The position requires adherence to nursing standards and protocols, ensuring timely and accurate patient care documentation and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of emergency room RN experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques.
• Provide accurate and timely information to healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Assess, document, and develop patient-specific care plans within 24 hours of admission.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory nursing standards.
• Participate in orientation, staff meetings, in-service trainings, and special projects.
