Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed histories and comprehensive physical examinations prior to surgical procedures
• Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic imaging to assist in surgical diagnosis and treatment planning
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs
• Provide direct intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and instrument support during procedures
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical concentration are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Valid Washington State PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
