Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth review of medical histories prior to surgical intervention
• Assist in the diagnostic workup of surgical conditions through accurate interpretation of imaging, laboratory findings, and clinical data
• Work collaboratively with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance — including room preparation, proper patient positioning, and active instrument support throughout surgical procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a strong surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through the NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required at time of hire
• Valid Washington State PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
