Education

Candidates must be currently enrolled in good standing in an approved nursing program or have graduated within the last 30 days (or up to 60 days with special approval).

Experience and Requirements

• Operate under the direct supervision of a registered nurse who is immediately available.
• Perform nursing functions aligned with current education and verified competencies.
• Administer medications safely, excluding chemotherapy, intravenous, and scheduled drugs, while practicing the eight rights of medication administration.
• Observe and report effects and side effects of treatments and medications promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure physician orders are followed precisely.
• Assist with patient positioning, hygiene, feeding, and rehabilitative programs.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and support team members in delivering quality care.
• Safeguard patient rights, dignity, and belongings, reporting any concerns immediately.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including incident reporting and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and maintain confidentiality at all times.
