What You Will Do

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including complete physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging to support accurate surgical evaluations and diagnoses
• Work alongside attending surgeons to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
• Provide skilled intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, maintaining sterile field integrity, patient positioning, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care encompassing wound management, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a focus on surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Washington State PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
