Job Summary

As an essential member of the clinical team, you will perform patient care duties within the scope of your certification, assist with treatments and procedures, and help maintain smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out provider orders accurately and promptly.
• Facilitate patient flow and communicate effectively with patients and staff to minimize wait times.
• Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation.
• Administer immunizations as authorized and maintain compliance with documentation requirements.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment following infection control practices.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with referral coordinators to ensure timely processing.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
