Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic exams, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously, depending on your credentials
• Providing education for patients and families on wellness, preventive care, and disease management
• Prescribing required medications and therapies within the prescribed scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic health issues
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care
• Thoroughly documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Succeed

• Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
