Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Ambulatory Telemetry Technician. This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring and surveillance of telemetry patients, ensuring timely recognition and reporting of rhythm changes and potentially life-threatening arrhythmias to the nursing staff according to established protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms and physiological parameters with precision.
• Observe, document, and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Identify rhythm abnormalities and promptly communicate concerns to Registered Nurses.
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment effectively.
• Respond swiftly to monitor alarms and emergency situations while maintaining composure.
• Utilize office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, telephones, and computers for documentation and communication.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient monitoring initiation and discontinuation.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper management of patient records.
• Participate in special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Telemetry Technician or ECG interpretation course is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Telemetry Technician experience is advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position offers day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on a PRN basis, providing flexibility within a supportive team atmosphere.
