Job Summary

As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate observation, documentation, and interpretation of cardiac rhythms. You will operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment, respond promptly to alarms, and maintain clear communication in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms and physiological parameters.
• Identify and report rhythm abnormalities to Registered Nurses.
• Operate telemetry monitoring equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient monitoring and communications.
• Support team efforts by adapting to changes and fostering positive relationships.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Telemetry Technician or ECG interpretation course preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• Telemetry Technician experience is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.

Work Environment
