Job Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents as a caregiver and medication dispenser. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold and promote the philosophy of encouraging self-care and independence among residents.
• Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and wisdom of residents while understanding the aging process.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident records following established procedures.
• Collaborate closely with peers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotionally charged situations.
• Remain calm and composed during emergencies.
• Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment.
• Assist the Dietary department as needed or directed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) credential valid in the relevant state.
• Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification required.
• Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities related to Assisted Living.
• At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar documentation.

• Demonstrate punctuality and complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.
• Communicate courteously and respectfully with patients, guests, and staff.
