Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate care in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum units within a regional medical center in the Pacific Northwest. This per diem role involves variable 12-hour shifts, offering flexibility and the opportunity to impact maternal and newborn health directly.

Job Summary

Deliver hands-on nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients. Assist physicians during procedures including cesarean sections, and educate families on infant and maternal care. Monitor fetal heart rates and uterine activity using continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), applying interventions aligned with AWHONN and ACOG guidelines. Respond promptly and effectively to obstetrical emergencies and changes in patient condition. Support other departments such as Acute Care, Outpatient, and Emergency as needed.

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license eligible for compact licensure.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate EFM.
• Completion of STABLE and other mandated classes within 12 months.

Experience

• Minimum of one year recent experience in Labor and Delivery or Newborn Nursery.
