This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive counseling services within a multidisciplinary setting, supporting primary care and substance use disorder treatment in a rural healthcare clinic.

Job Summary

The LMHP conducts biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria, and develops individualized treatment plans. You will provide therapy and counseling to a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social intake assessments and document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers and substance use specialists.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and behavioral health support during face-to-face patient encounters.
• Serve as a patient advocate, facilitating smooth transitions between care settings and connecting patients with community resources.
• Maintain professional skills through ongoing education and stay current with regulatory changes and best practices.
• Participate actively in team activities, committees, and special projects to enhance patient care and organizational goals.

Education and Experience

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Minimum of two years recent clinical experience preferred.
• Experience working with families, children, and clients with co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.

Licenses and Certifications

• LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC license in the state of Washington; associate licenses considered.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health theories and clinical skills.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and coaching capabilities.
• Proficiency with technology including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
