Medical Technologist

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Med Tech to join our laboratory team in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment, performing essential laboratory testing that directly impacts patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
• Analyze and interpret test results to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, and storage following lab protocols.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Follow infection control, quality assurance, and safety procedures in all lab operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and reliable test results.
• Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff or students.

Role Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• MT/MLS/MLT certification from ASCP is required.
• Wisconsin state licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for night shift availability is preferred.
